Don’t you just hate it when you’re busy in the garden—toiling the soil, weeding, or trying your best to relax and forget about the busy day at the office—when suddenly mosquitoes would be buzzing around your head or feasting on your skin?
Well, you can always apply insect repellant or wear long sleeved shirts. But another great way to resolve this pesky problem is to cultivate mosquito-repelling plants in your garden.
As you probably know, some plants contain oils that are natural deterrents for mosquitoes. Some good examples include rosemary, lemon balm, marigold, catnip, ageratum, citronella, basil, lavender, and lemon thyme.
