Eucalyptus is not difficult to care for. In fact, it can take care of itself quite well, especially after it has been established. It doesn’t require too much watering unless it’s planted in an area that receives direct sunlight during most of the day.
If you’re going to plant eucalyptus in a container, make use of slow-release fertilizer or fertilizer that’s low in phosphorus. But only fertilize occasionally. Pruning is also a must during the summer season to control growth on top. This plant is beautiful and fragrant, and would be a wonderful addition to your garden.
